Matched quad of 12AU7 / ECC82 Baldwin by RCA, manufactured Made in USA around 1959, with Clear Top, Long Gray Plates, and Side D Getter construction. A very interesting configuration from RCA's American production of the late 1950s, appreciated for its stability, consistency, and build quality.

Baldwin-branded tubes were often produced by RCA for professional organ applications, with high-quality standards and a selection focused on long-term reliability. The Clear Top design, typical of some RCA productions, contributes to an open, clean, and well-defined sound.

The quad comes from the same manufacturing lot and has been tested and selected in our laboratory using an Amplitrex AT-1000, resulting in a true Matched Quad with extremely close values.

All tubes are classified as VERY STRONG, with stable emission, low noise, and microphonics. Burn-in test passed.

From a sonic perspective, this quad offers a balanced, transparent, and controlled presentation. The Clear Top construction, combined with the long plates, delivers a clean and articulated sound, with fast and tidy bass, linear mids, open but not aggressive highs, and a stable and well-focused soundstage.

Suitable for line preamplifiers, phono stages, drivers, buffers, and circuits compatible with 12AU7 / ECC82, where consistency between tubes, low noise, and operational stability are required.
