Description

Not just a simple “matched” pair: two GE 6AS7GA NOS NIB tubes selected on an Amplitrex at high current to offer stability, uniformity, and consistent behavior in compatible OTL applications.

Designed for OTL amplifiers, headphone amplifiers, and 6AS7 / 6080 family circuits, this pair is selected at 55 mA per section in Auto Bias to verify tube behavior under demanding conditions and identify units that are electrically very consistent with each other.

The final matching is performed by primarily comparing the grid voltage (Vg) required for each section to reach the same anode current of 55 mA, with Gm used as an additional parameter for electrical consistency.

The tubes have achieved a VERY STRONG rating, with stable emission, well-balanced sections, consistent behavior between the two tubes, and no shorts, gas, or instability.

These are authentic GE NOS NIB – New Old Stock, New In Box – never used, sourced from DLA – Defense Logistics Agency military stock. Production General Electric, Made in USA 1986, Owensboro, Kentucky plant, with GE military green silk-screen printing and original packaging.
