Description:

Precious Matched Pair of 12AX7 / ECC83 NOS EVERETT produced by Philips in the Heerlen plant, authentic Dutch production from 1964, characterized by the classic Short Gray Plates with Halo Getter construction. The manufacturing code Δ4K3 indeed traces the production to the historic Philips plant in Heerlen, Holland, in November 1964.

The tubes branded EVERETT therefore feature original Philips Heerlen construction, particularly interesting for enthusiasts of vintage European ECC83s and for those seeking the character and construction quality of Dutch productions from the 1960s.

The pair has been carefully tested and selected in our laboratory using the Amplitrex AT-1000 Tube Tester, obtaining a VERY STRONG classification. The transconductance values of the four sections are between 1600 and 1800, with extremely consistent anodic currents between 1.1 and 1.3 mA. The balance is very good and the pair has also been selected for Low Noise & Microphonics, with strong, stable emission and free from anomalies.

Sonically, the Philips Heerlen ECC83s are particularly appreciated for a refined and musical reproduction, capable of combining warmth and naturalness with remarkable openness and definition. The mid-range is rich and articulate, the bass well-controlled, and the high frequencies detailed without being aggressive, with a wide and well-focused soundstage.

Ideal for hi-fi preamplifiers, phono stages, integrated amplifiers, tube DACs, and guitar amplifiers compatible with 12AX7 / ECC83. Thanks to the Low Noise & Microphonics selection, they are particularly interesting even in the most sensitive audio stages, while the excellent balance of the sections further expands their possibilities of use.

The tubes are NOS – New Old Stock, accurately tested and perfectly functional. The aesthetic conditions are good, with partially faded but still legible silkscreen printing, consistent with the age of the specimens.

A valuable Matched Pair of EVERETT by Philips Heerlen 12AX7 / ECC83 from 1964, genuinely tested and selected by Vacuum Tubes Treasures, ideal for those seeking authentic NOS Dutch ECC83s, strong, well-balanced, and selected for Low Noise & Microphonics.
