This USN 6922 AMPEREX , produced at the Hicksville (New York) plant in 1960 (glass code 7L4 ✱ 0C ), is a military version intended for the US Navy, built to more stringent specifications than civilian production.

This is a genuine Amperex Electronic Corp. USA production, with:

Sound Characteristics

The US military 6922s have a different sound signature than the European Philips/Heerlen productions.
