Well I couldn’t be happier with the store. When I was unsure till I had done some more research, they provided me with the info on how they had identified the valve cos it had lost its label and code. I verified and they are right. Good service so have used again. Valve is as described. Good bass extentin and smooth top. Sparkly but not too much. Running through tekefunken phase splitter and 1960 fat base Mullard rectifier. So, tight bass, warm and full with enough slam but not excessive. Lively fulll mid and detailed top. Not as clinical as an Amperex or telefunken, much more musical and cohesive. The instruments don’t stand in their own space, so if you want complete separation then it ain’t for you. Lovely straight wall of sound, which is what was looking for with this one. Glues the music together rather than letting you know exactly where everyone is. Sound stage is wide. I’m overall happy with it. Does what I wanted and sounds like it should.
