Matched quad of 12AX7 / ECC83 NOS Baldwin by Sylvania, Made in USA 1952 production, selected for compatible hi-fi and musical applications where consistent, musical valves with a vintage American sound character are required.

Baldwin-branded tubes were intended for professional musical applications, particularly high-quality electronic organs, where reliability, stability, and operational continuity were fundamental. In this case, the production is attributable to Sylvania, with Long Gray Plates and Large Halo Getter construction, a configuration of great historical and sonic appeal.

The quad has been tested and selected in our laboratory as a Matched Quad. The consistency between the four tubes makes it particularly interesting for multi-stage devices, complex stereo configurations, and systems requiring uniformity across multiple circuit positions.

Sonically, it offers a soft, natural, and refined performance, with controlled bass, warm and harmonically rich mids, airy but not aggressive highs, and a stable soundstage.
