This 12AV7 General Electric NOS NIB , Made in USA and dating back to 1962 , is a high quality signal tube, nowadays increasingly rare to find new from stock and complete with the original box .
The construction with short gray plates and D getter is typical of the best GE productions of the early 60s, appreciated for their reliability, silence and stable electrical behavior over time.

Tested in our laboratory, the valve is found to be perfectly efficient , with consistent performance and ready for use in hi-fi equipment and vintage circuits.

  • Test Conditions: Va = 150V, Vg = -1V
  • Average 100% Gm = 8.5 ; Ia = 18 mA
  • Test Result: VERY STRONG

Valve:

  • Section 1: Gm = 7.9 ; Ia = 14.6 mA
  • Section 2: Gm = 8.9 ; Ia = 16.9 mA
Additional Tests Performed:
  • Microphonics: Low. Tested and approved for use in hi-fi and guitar amplifiers.
  • Balance: The sections show a slight deviation in values; excellent for use in hi-fi and musical applications (guitar) where balanced sections are not specifically required.
  • Output Quality: Excellent – ​​Very strong and stable output, no fluctuations.
