Description

Matched pair of 12AU7 / ECC82 Baldwin by Toshiba, Made in Japan production, selected for compatible hi-fi and musical applications where sound balance, low noise, and good consistency between channels are required.

The tubes feature internal construction with Long Gray Plates and D Getter, typical characteristics of careful, precise, and reliable Toshiba production. The Baldwin brand identifies a supply intended for organ and musical applications, where operational stability and continuous functioning were fundamental aspects.

The pair comes from the same manufacturing batch and has been tested and selected as a Matched Pair using an Amplitrex AT-1000 Tube Tester. The internal VTT classification is STRONG, with consistent values between the two tubes, Ultra Low Noise, Low Microphonics, and Burning OK.

The aesthetic conditions are excellent, with very nice and well-preserved lettering, a refined overall appearance, and a strong visual presence. See photos for details.

From a sonic perspective, it offers clean, balanced, and well-controlled performance, with compact bass, clear and natural mids, open highs free from harshness.
