1. General Conditions of Use
We invite you to carefully read these General Conditions of Use (or “General Conditions”) before using the services of Vacuum Tubes Treasures. By using the services of Vacuum Tubes Treasures and placing a purchase order on our site, you fully accept these General Conditions of Use.

These general conditions of sale ("General Conditions") are governed by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005), section II, Distance Contracts (articles 50 – 67), by the provisions of the Civil Code on sales contracts in articles 1490 et seq., and by the rules on electronic commerce (Legislative Decree no. 70/2003) and apply to the sale via the Internet of the products present on the Vacuum Tubes Treasures website.
Vacuum Tubes Treasures reserves the right to modify these General Conditions, by prior notice published on the website. In the event of changes to the General Conditions, the General Conditions published on the website at the time the order is sent by the customer will apply to the purchase order.
The products and their prices presented on the website constitute an offer to the public, in accordance with the methods specified in the General Conditions and on the website itself.
Please note that to purchase products on the Vacuum Tubes Treasures website you must be of legal age. In the case of purchases made by a minor, the parents or the person exercising guardianship will be considered jointly liable.
To submit a purchase order, the customer has the following order procedures available:
· by email, using the Antispam form "Customer Service"

· directly on the website - the customer successfully completes the order procedure if the website does not show any error messages: In the event that the customer wishes to proceed with the purchase, it is not necessary to register, the data provided will be used exclusively to proceed with the purchase; To submit a purchase order, the customer must provide the following data: name, surname, delivery address, payment method, postal/telephone/email address - in the case of purchases made by private individuals; name/company name, tax code and VAT number, registered office, delivery address, payment method, postal/telephone number/email address – in the case of purchases made by companies/freelance professionals.
Vacuum Tubes Treasures will confirm receipt of the purchase order by sending an “Order Receipt Confirmation” email to the email address provided by the customer. This confirmation will summarize the products chosen, their availability in stock, their prices, shipping costs, delivery address and order number.
The customer undertakes to verify the accuracy of the data contained in the order confirmation and to communicate any corrections within 12 (twelve) hours of receiving it. Possible additional costs caused by errors in the data not reported promptly will be borne by the customer. The order number must be used by the customer in all communications with Vacuum Tubes Treasures. Occasional unavailability of the products offered in stock may occur; in this case, if the products chosen by the customer are not, in whole or in part, immediately available, Vacuum Tubes Treasures will communicate this to the customer via email.
In the case of purchase by bank transfer, credit card or Paypal, Vacuum Tubes Treasures will proceed with the shipment of the chosen products only after receiving the payment. The customer will be sent a “Shipping Confirmation” email when the products are taken over by the courier in charge of delivery.
The prices of the products on the site are unit prices and are to be understood as VAT included or not subject to VAT if second-hand products.
The Customer expressly acknowledges that the indication of a VAT number in the purchase order automatically qualifies him/her as a business/freelancer – therefore, the rules contained in the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) cannot be applied to such transactions; instead, reference will be made to the provisions of the Civil Code, articles 1490 et seq., regarding sales contracts.
2. Warranty
All products offered by Vacuum Tubes Treasures are covered by a legal guarantee of conformity, as provided for by Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code) and the provisions of the Civil Code relating to the sales contract (articles 1490 et seq.).
Definition and Scope of Application
The legal guarantee of conformity guarantees the customer that the products purchased will not present defects of conformity for a period of two years from the date of delivery (one year for used products, including NOS and/or NIB products from private collections).
With regard to thermionic valves, Vacuum Tubes Treasures offers a specific guarantee of 6 months from the date of delivery. This guarantee covers any obvious manufacturing defects that appear during normal use of the product. Defects or damage resulting from improper use, tampering, normal wear and tear or unsuitable operating conditions are not covered by the guarantee.
The guarantee includes the free repair or replacement of defective products. If these solutions are excessively expensive, the customer will be entitled to a price reduction or a refund in the form of a credit that can be used for future purchases at our store. The amount of such credit will be calculated based on the use made of the product.
Limitations of the Warranty
The warranty does not cover minor damage or defects that do not significantly impair the use of the product, nor damage resulting from improper use, tampering, normal wear and tear or inadequate maintenance. The practice of "tube rolling", i.e. the replacement of valves with others to vary the sound, is at the risk and discretion of the purchaser and does not give the right to returns or refunds.
The following are not covered by the warranty:
Accidental damage or damage resulting from use not in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions (manufacturer's datasheet).
Deterioration due to inadequate operating conditions or maintenance performed by unauthorized personnel.
Consumables and components subject to normal wear over time, such as thermionic valves, except in cases of obvious manufacturing defects present at delivery. Manufacturing defects must be reported in compliance with the warranty terms specified above.
How to Exercise the Warranty
The customer is required to inform Vacuum Tubes Treasures of any lack of conformity within 60 days of its discovery during the warranty period. In the first six months following delivery, it is assumed that any defects existed at the time of delivery, making the application of the warranty automatic. Subsequently, an expert assessment will be required to certify the origin of the defect, at the customer's expense.
Warranty Claim Information

The customer is also required to provide documentary evidence of the defect complained of via a short video sent on WhatsApp to the number +39 328 7341456 or by email to vacuumtubestreasures@gmail.com.
For those who purchase a product on Vacuum Tubes Treasures for purposes related to their business or professional activity - therefore communicating their VAT number and business data - the provisions of the Civil Code regarding sales contracts, articles 1490 et seq., will be applied. The guarantee, therefore, extends to 12 (twelve) months following delivery of the goods, while the communication of the lack of conformity must be made within 8 (eight) days of discovery.
3. Right of Withdrawal
Purchases made on the Vacuum Tubes Treasures website are governed by Italian law on distance contracts and off-premises purchases, as provided for by Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, also known as the Consumer Code, and by Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which the consumer or a third party, other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform us of their decision through an explicit declaration (for example, a letter sent by post, fax, or email) to the following addresses:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal to be sent before the withdrawal period expires.
Conditions for Returning Goods
The goods must be returned exactly as they were received, meaning unopened and unused, with the intact packaging seal. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for goods that have been used or where the packaging seal has been broken.
Refund Procedure
In the case of withdrawal, the refund will include the cost of the goods and the original shipping costs (i.e., those incurred for standard delivery), unless the consumer has chosen a more expensive delivery method than the standard one offered by the seller. In this case, only the cost of standard shipping will be refunded.
For sales made outside the European Union, the original shipping costs will not be refunded in the event of withdrawal, due to the high cost of international shipping.
We commit to refunding the amount due within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or of receiving proof that the goods have been shipped. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed by the parties. The consumer will not incur any additional costs as a result of the refund.
Return Shipping Costs
The costs of returning the goods will be borne by the consumer. It is the consumer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned in a condition that does not diminish their value due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.
Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
Consumer protection under the Consumer Code applies only to individuals acting for purposes unrelated to their trade, business, or profession. Therefore, the right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities or individuals acting for commercial purposes, nor to resellers or persons purchasing goods for resale.
Errors by the Seller and Damaged Products
If the item received does not match the one ordered due to an error on our part, return shipping costs will be borne by us. Please contact us to find the simplest and quickest solution.
If you receive a damaged product, please inform us within 5 working days by sending an email with the subject "damaged items" or by contacting us by phone.

5. Payment Methods
In case of payment via PayPal, in addition to the product prices and shipping costs, an order processing fee of 3% of the total purchase is applied. This fee covers the operational costs of managing the transaction. In case of a refund, the processing fee will not be refunded, as it covers the costs already incurred for managing and processing the order.

7. Competent Court
For civil disputes governed by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the competent Court will be that of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer, if located in the territory of the Italian State.
For any other dispute, the competent Court will be that of Teramo (Italy).
