Returns and Refunds
At Vacuum Tubes Treasures, we are committed to providing quality products and a satisfying shopping experience. However, we understand that there may be situations where a return is necessary. Here are our guidelines:
Conditions for Returns
- You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the product has not been used and is returned in its original packaging with the tamper-proof seal intact.
- We do not accept returns for reasons related to sound preferences or tube rolling. Just like a music CD that cannot be returned simply because the sound does not meet personal tastes, tubes cannot be returned for these reasons.
- Tubes that are found to be defective upon arrival can be replaced, subject to verification, by contacting our customer service team.
- We are always available to provide all the necessary support before your purchase, helping our customers make the best choice for their needs and minimizing the risk of returns.
- The product images on our website are exactly those of the items you will receive. Each item is photographed individually to ensure transparency and provide an accurate representation of the product, including any aesthetic conditions.
Exclusions
- We do not accept returns of used tubes or those with a broken tamper-proof seal.
- No refunds are offered for items purchased as "vintage" or "NOS" (New Old Stock) due to minor aesthetic variations or storage conditions, such as print erosion, that do not affect the product’s functionality.
Return Procedure
- To initiate a return, please contact us by email at vacuumtubestreasures@gmail.com, and we will provide all the instructions necessary for shipping the product back.
- Once the product is received and inspected, we will confirm whether the return is accepted. If approved, you may choose between:
- A refund via the original payment method, or
- A refund in the form of store credit, which can be used for future purchases on our shop, offering greater flexibility and security in your shopping experience.
- Note: If the reported defect is not detected during the inspection, the product will be returned to the customer at their expense, and shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility. Alternatively, a partial refund may be considered, taking into account the costs of handling and inspection.
Return Costs
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or there was an error on our part. If the product is defective, we will cover all shipping costs for the replacement.
- Customs Fees: Any customs fees incurred during the return process will also be deducted from the refund if the item is not found to be defective.
Refunds
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after confirming the return is accepted.
- If the returned product has a broken tamper-proof seal, 20% will be deducted from the refund, as the product is considered used.
- Refunds do not include shipping costs unless the product is defective.
- Customs Fees: Any customs fees incurred during the return process will also be deducted from the refund if the item is not found to be defective.
Conditions for Unclaimed and Returned International Shipments

Buyer's Responsibility:
Once the order is shipped, the buyer is responsible for monitoring the shipment and promptly claiming the package from the courier or customs authorities. Any delays, additional costs, or issues resulting from the buyer's failure to claim the shipment will be entirely the buyer's responsibility. -
Customs Hold or Abandonment:
If the package is held by customs due to lack of documentation or requests for duties/taxes:- The buyer must resolve the issue with customs authorities within the stipulated timeframe.
- If the buyer fails to act and the package is declared abandoned by customs authorities, no refund will be issued for the order, including shipping costs or any other amounts already paid.

No Refund for Abandoned Goods:
Vacuum Tubes Treasures does not issue refunds or returns for unclaimed orders, abandoned goods, or shipments that cannot be returned to the sender. This policy also applies to claims or disputes filed through payment systems like PayPal. -
Refunds and Disputes:
- In the event of disputes raised via PayPal or other payment systems, Vacuum Tubes Treasures will provide documentation to demonstrate:
- The correct shipment of the goods to the address provided by the buyer.
- The customs hold or abandonment of the goods due to the buyer's inaction.
- By accepting these terms, the buyer acknowledges the responsibility to claim the shipment and agrees that no refunds will be issued in cases of abandonment.
