The GE Five Stars series represents one of the most appreciated high-reliability lines of vintage American production, developed for professional applications where stability, long life, and consistent performance were fundamental requirements.

The manufacturing code 57-26 / 188 identifies General Electric Company, Syracuse, New York production, and precisely places this specimen in the 26th week of 1957.
