1. General Conditions of Use
We invite You to read these General Conditions of Use, or “General Conditions”, carefully before using the services of Vacuum Tubes Treasures.
By using the services of Vacuum Tubes Treasures and placing an order on our website, You fully accept these General Conditions of Use.

These general terms and conditions of sale, or “General Conditions”, are governed by the Italian Consumer Code — Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, Section II, distance contracts — by the provisions of the Italian Civil Code concerning sales contracts, Articles 1490 et seq., and by the regulations on electronic commerce, Legislative Decree No. 70/2003.
Vacuum Tubes Treasures reserves the right to amend these General Conditions, subject to notice published on the website. In the event of changes to the General Conditions, the General Conditions published on the website at the time the customer submits the order shall apply to that order.
2. Warranty
All products offered by Vacuum Tubes Treasures are covered by the legal warranty of conformity, as provided by Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, the Italian Consumer Code, and by the provisions of the Italian Civil Code concerning sales contracts, Articles 1490 et seq.
Definition and Scope of Application
The legal warranty of conformity guarantees the customer that the products purchased will not present conformity defects for a period of two years from the delivery date.
For used products, including NOS and/or NIB products originating from private collections, the warranty is limited to one year, within the limits permitted by applicable law.
With regard to vacuum tubes, Vacuum Tubes Treasures offers a specific warranty of 6 months from the delivery date. This warranty covers any evident manufacturing defects that appear during normal use of the product.
Defects or damage resulting from improper use, tampering, normal wear, or unsuitable operating conditions are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty includes the free repair or replacement of defective products. If no defect is found during verification, the product will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Alternatively, a partial refund may be considered, taking into account handling and verification costs.
In the event of a refund for tubes with a broken tamper-evident seal, 20% will be deducted from the refund amount, as the product is considered used.
Return Costs in Case of Compliant Products
In the event of a product return under warranty or under the right of withdrawal, Vacuum Tubes Treasures reserves the right to deduct the cost of the return label from the refund amount if, after careful verification, no conformity defect is found.
This cost will be communicated to the customer before the refund is issued.
Warranty Limitations
The warranty does not cover damage or minor defects that do not significantly affect the use of the product, nor damage resulting from improper use, tampering, normal wear, or inadequate maintenance.
The warranty does not cover:
- accidental damage or damage resulting from use not compliant with the manufacturer’s instructions, including the manufacturer’s datasheet;
- deterioration caused by unsuitable operating conditions or maintenance carried out by unauthorized personnel;
- consumables and components subject to normal wear over time, such as vacuum tubes, except in cases of evident manufacturing defects present upon delivery.
3. Right of Withdrawal
Purchases made on the Vacuum Tubes Treasures website are governed by Italian legislation on distance contracts and purchases made away from business premises, as provided by Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, the Italian Consumer Code.
Conditions for the Right of Withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform us of their decision by means of an explicit statement sent to the following contact details:

The consumer may also exercise the right of withdrawal through any online return/withdrawal request functions made available within the website, where present.
Limitations of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products with a broken tamper-evident seal.
In accordance with Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that have been opened or used after delivery.
NOS or used products may not be returned unless they are in intact condition, with the security seal applied at the time of shipment.
4. NOS and Used Products
All NOS — New Old Stock — and used products are carefully tested before shipment.
However, due to their vintage nature, they may show signs of wear, partially faded lettering, or other cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality.
The security seal guarantees that the product conforms to the description provided and is in the condition verified before shipment.
Breaking the seal invalidates the right of withdrawal and compromises the possibility of return.
All tubes are tested to ensure that microphonics are within acceptable limits for optimal use. If You have specific requirements, our team is available to help You choose the most suitable solution.
Warnings for Vintage Products
Since the products sold are vintage and have not been tested according to modern safety regulations such as the GPSR — General Product Safety Regulation, they should only be used with equipment compatible with vintage tubes, following appropriate safety precautions.
Vacuum Tubes Treasures does not guarantee the lifespan or performance of vintage products as it would for a new tube.
Furthermore, storage conditions may result in cosmetic variations, such as faded labels, which do not affect the functionality of the product.
5. Invoicing and Tax Regime
Vacuum Tubes Treasures operates under the Italian flat-rate tax regime.
All sales are carried out under the Italian flat-rate regime, pursuant to Article 1, paragraphs 54-89, Law No. 190/2014.
VAT is not applicable to sales in Italy.
Since we operate under the Italian flat-rate tax regime, VAT is not applied to sales made in Italy, and issued invoices do not allow VAT deduction.
