Description:

Precious JAN 12AU7 / ECC82 of authentic TUNG-SOL US production, attributable approximately to the 1950s based on construction characteristics. The configuration with black plates and D-getter belongs to the most sought-after vintage American production and is offered here in the robust JAN military version, particularly interesting for hi-fi equipment and quality tube amplifiers.

Accurately tested with AMPLITREX AT-1000, it recorded identical values on both sections: Gm 2300 / 2300 and Ia 12.2 / 12.2 mA. Compared to the reference values for the 12AU7, these measurements confirm VERY STRONG emission, superior to the nominal value, along with virtually perfect balance. This exceptional symmetry makes the tube particularly suitable as a phase inverter, as well as a driver or in the line stages of hi-fi systems and guitar amplifiers.

The 48-hour burn-in confirmed stable operation without fluctuations. The Low Noise & Microphonics selection ensures low and well-controlled noise, allowing its use even in the most sensitive audio stages. Shorts and gas are absent.
